Horizon Health Network is seeking a cardiologist to join the Department of Internal Medicine at The Moncton Hospital. Medical sub-specialty services are offered to a regional population of up to 500,000 for secondary and some tertiary services. The 400 bed regional hospital offers a well-equipped 8-bed coronary care unit, a step-down telemetry unit, a Cardiac Assessment Clinic, all non-invasive cardiac investigative modalities and a full pacemaker service. The department is very active in continuing medical education, and is regularly involved with teaching of medical students and residents affiliated with Dalhousie University and Memorial University. | Remuneration |
Remuneration may be fee-for-service or salaried. Fee-for-service is a direct compensation between the physician and Medicare of New Brunswick. No source deductions can be provided. A salaried model ranges between a minimum of $295, 932 to a maximum of $359, 788 annually (excluding benefits and source deductions) based on qualifications and experience. On call remuneration is fee for service. These rates are based on New Brunswick’s Medicare Medical Pay Plan and are subject to changes based on provincial policy.
