Hanover and District Hospital (HDH), a small, rural hospital located in the heart of Grey-Bruce, Ontario, is seeking an Obstetrics (OBS) physician to join our dedicated medical team. About Us HDH is a community-focused hospital that provides high-quality, patient-centred care close to home. We are proud to operate a low-risk birth centre, supported by 24-hour surgical services back-up and access to epidural anesthesia, ensuring that families can safely deliver their babies in a rural setting while having immediate access to advanced care if needed. Our robust obstetrics program also offers a weekly prenatal clinic for patients beginning at 28 weeks gestation, providing continuity of care throughout the pregnancy journey. The Opportunity We are recruiting an Obstetrics physician to support prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care in our low-risk obstetrics program. Physicians participate in a shared on-call rotation, one week at a time, with compensation provided through the Hospital On-Call Coverage (HOCC) Program. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collegial environment with an excellent team of nurses, family physicians, and allied health professionals, while making a direct impact on maternal and newborn care in our community.
