Job Duties:

- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients. – Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose medical conditions. – Take patient’s medical history and review medical records. – Treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions. – Prescribe medications and implement medical treatment plans. – Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging. – Provide preventive care and health education to patients. – Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in our modern Electronic Medical Record system. – Collaborate with clinic staff and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. – Participate in both in-person and virtual consultations as required. – May conduct other physician duties as assigned.

Employment Requirements:

Education

- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution. – Completion of Family Medicine Residency or equivalent training.

Licensing

- Licensing, or eligibility for licensing, by the provincial or territorial licensing authority (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) is required.

Experience

- Experience in family medicine, walk-in clinic, or primary care is considered an asset. – Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply.

Language of Work

- English language ability.

Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. – Efficient interpersonal skills. – Ability to collaborate with health care staff, patients and their families. – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

- Administrative support provided. – Relocation expenses. – Four weeks’ vacation.

Wage:

- Fee-for-service split with earning potential of approximately $250,000 to $350,000 per year.
