Job Duties

- Provide comprehensive dermatologic consultations and assessments. – Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions and diseases, including skin cancer, and provide appropriate treatments (non-MOHS surgeries). – Collaborate closely with, and act as consultant to, our multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and integrated patient care. – Document clinical notes efficiently, with strong support from administrative and clinical staff. – Stay current with advances in dermatologic conditions through studying the nature, cause and development of conditions and participating in ongoing education and training opportunities. – Engage with the community and build your professional brand, supported by our marketing team. – Opportunity to perform cosmetic dermatology procedures, including lasers, injectables, and body contouring, is available but is not required. – Uphold our patient-first philosophy, our safety standards and our commitment to clinical excellence.

Employment Requirements

Education

- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.

Licensing

- Licensing, or eligibility for licensing, by the provincial licensing authority (College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia) is required.

Experience

- No Attending Physician experience is necessary, though candidates with experience are preferred.

Language

- English language ability.

Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. – Efficient interpersonal skills. – Ability to collaborate with health care staff and patients. – Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

Wage

- Fee-for-service split with earning potential of $500,000 to $750,000 per year.
