Title of the Position: General Internist (with interest in cardiology) – NOC 31100
Job Duties: We are looking for a general internist with a cardiology focus. The physician will practice specifically in cardiac disease and risk factor modification and will provide diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of cardiac and vascular diseases. This includes conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and implementing appropriate interventions. The care team includes Cardiologists, Cardiac Sonographers, ECG technologists and the role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent position, minimum of 4 full days of in-clinic work with patients with a preference of 5 in-clinic days. Minimum 30 hours a week.

Wage: Compensation is based on a Fee for Service model. Competitive overhead rates, with no overhead for the first month. The average earning potential is $295,785.00 to $320,000.00, which may vary.

Skills Requirements:
• Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Royal College certification in General Internal Medicine (or pending certification)
• Board Certified U.S.-trained specialists in General Internal Medicine may be granted equivalence to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of
Canada certification in General Internal Medicine. In that case, they would be eligible for an independent license in Ontario.
• Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
