Job Description:

We are looking for six (6) full-time permanent Family Physicians, to provide family medicine services to the community on a walk-in basis and by appointment. The Family Physicians will be required to deliver comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population in accordance with the highest standards of the medical profession and guidance of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. They will be expected to perform all duties associated with family care services, including:

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to individuals across all age groups, including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of a wide range of medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
• Performing patient evaluations such as physical examinations, routine health assessments, and follow-up care for both acute and chronic conditions.
• Carrying out minor medical procedures within the scope of family practice.
• Prescribing appropriate medications and ordering, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and medical imaging.
• Promoting preventive care through patient education, vaccinations, and counselling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Ensuring medical documentation is thorough, accurate, and compliant with both clinic protocols and provincial regulatory requirements.

Diagnostiks Medical Group Inc. has three clinic locations: Stafford Medical Clinic at 395 Stafford Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3M 2X4, which also serves as our corporate headquarters; Sargent Medical Clinic located at 1385 Sargent Avenue #202, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 3P8; and St. Anne Medical Clinic located at 215 St. Anne’s Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2M 2Z9. The Family Physicians will be required to provide services for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, which may be scheduled at any combination of the employer’s three clinic locations in the Winnipeg area. Physicians will have the flexibility to determine their working hours within the operational timeframe of 8:00am to 10:00pm, seven days per week, with scheduling guided by patient needs and coordinated rotations with other physicians to ensure comprehensive coverage across all clinics.
