K-W Cardiopulmonary Services Inc. (CPS) is a busy and collegial outpatient facility that provides cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic services to the patients of Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and those elsewhere in Southwestern Ontario. Our physician group currently consists of a large group of cardiologists and respirologists. We are closely affiliated with Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) Queen’s (formerly SMGH) and Midtown (formerly GRH), where we provide call coverage (MRP and consulting) and participate in diagnostic testing and procedures (i.e., bronchoscopies). We also participate in many hospital-based clinics (i.e., LDAP, MPE, Adult CF, Long-term vent, ILD clinic, pulmonary rehab) and our regional public-health TB clinic.

Our total catchment area exceeds 1 million people, and we have a large and well-established referral base. At CPS, we will help set up your practice. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a turnkey outpatient practice set-up.
In the setting of upcoming retirements and ongoing high referral volume, our CPS Respirology group of 8 is currently actively recruiting a full-time member to take part in out-patient referrals at CPS and participate in hospital call coverage.
Our outpatient CPS practice has on-site diagnostics, including spirometry, PFTs, and ABGs. Qualified physicians joining our group can interpret and be reimbursed for these tests. We are also down the hall from the WRHN Airway Clinic, which provides access to CPET testing, IEAs, 6MWTs, PFTs, FENOs, and sputum induction. The WRHN Airway Clinic also has RT and NP support for educational programs (i.e., Asthma and COPD education/activation programs, smoking cessation counseling, etc).
