EPICare Medical is welcoming new physicians to join our Family Health Organization (FHO) at our newly established, modern medical clinic in Waterdown, Ontario—a growing community just minutes from Hamilton and Burlington. We are currently expanding our FHO’s second site, which includes one active member, and are seeking a motivated, community-minded physician ready to grow their patient roster with the benefits and stability of FHO membership.

Scope of Practice:
As a family physician in an outpatient setting, you’ll be expected to:

• Deliver comprehensive care across all ages (infants to elderly)
• Provide preventive care (immunizations, screening, lifestyle counseling)
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions
• Offer minor procedures (e.g., wart removal, ear syringing, injections)
• Refer and coordinate care with specialists and allied health providers
• Manage prescriptions and monitor for adverse effects
• Maintain accurate electronic health records via Avaros EMR
• Remain up to date with ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME)
• Be prepared to handle medical emergencies in a clinic setting

All physicians are expected to follow the professional standards outlined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and the Ontario Medical Association (OMA).

Qualifications:

• Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Active registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
• Proficiency in other languages is an asset to support our diverse patient base

• Blended Capitation Model via OHIP billing under FHO structure
