Shared Health and the Department of Pathology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for a permanent full-time Neuropathologist position at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB Canada. The start date is 01 July 2025 or as soon after as possible.
The successful applicant will join three other experienced neuropathologists. We currently examine 350-400 brains (including perinatal, hospital / family permission, and medicolegal cases) and >500 neurosurgical specimens (including approximately 60-80 muscle biopsies) annually. All work is at the Health Sciences Centre – Winnipeg, the sole neurosurgical site and the major medicolegal and pediatric autopsy site for the Province of Manitoba. Participation in educational and quality assurance activities is an expectation, as well as working in collaboration on scholarly and clinical activities with other specialists / scientists in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications:
• Able to obtain licensure to practice as a pathologist in the Province of Manitoba through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
• Certification or eligibility to get certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Neuropathology.
• Candidates with experience in or willingness to get additional diagnostic molecular pathology training are welcomed.

Compensation:
Compensation is per Doctors Manitoba contract $401,020.36 annually.
