The Section of Hepatology is one of 19 academic sections in the Department of Internal Medicine providing patient care, undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education, and research. The 7 faculty members of the Section of Hepatology form a group of academic hepatologists in a busy and expanding liver disease program and report to the Head, Department of Internal Medicine and Provincial Specialty Lead, Shared Health. The Section has a strong commitment to the provision of clinical services and interest in furthering undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education in Hepatology. The successful candidate, based at the Health Sciences Center, will have an academic appointment within the Section of Hepatology with a start date of February 1, 2025, or negotiable based on the successful candidate’s availability. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
