The Cardiology Physician is responsible for providing expert medical care and support to patients with cardiac diseases. The Cardiologist will provide assessment and management of patient care, including physical examinations, diagnostic, medical management, and patient education. The Cardiology Physician will develop diagnostic and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide follow-up care. The Cardiologist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and providing timely documentation of patient care. The successful candidate should possess a current Cardiology Physician license, excellent communication skills, and a patient-focused approach.

Role Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiologist to join our team at MyCardia Clinic. In this role, you will provide comprehensive cardiac consultation services for new patients and follow-us, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. A Cardiologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating heart conditions, providing high-quality care for patients with cardiovascular issues.

Duties
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular conditions, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests to assess heart function and detect abnormalities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cardiovascular diseases, including medication management, lifestyle changes, and referrals to other specialists.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on responses to therapy and changes in condition.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on cardiovascular health, risk factors, and treatment options.• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical documentation standards.

Requirements and Skills
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Cardiology.
• Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Valid state medical license to practice as MD. Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and relevant certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working full-time as a cardiologist.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a compassionate bedside manner.

Compensation
● Fee for service with an overhead split.
