About the Position The Department of Oncology, Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services, Community Oncology in conjunction with University of Alberta invite applications for a full-time Medical Oncologist position at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre (GPCC) in Grande Prairie, Alberta to start soonest possible. The Grande Prairie Cancer Centre is a new building located within the new Grande Prairie Regional Hospital which opened in 2021. The GPCC is one of four Regional Cancer Centres within Cancer Care Alberta’s Community Oncology portfolio. Serving Northern Alberta and Northeastern British Columbia, cancer care practice at the GPCC is centered on seven major tumor groups, with rarer tumors managed in conjunction with consultation and expertise from the tertiary centers in Edmonton and Calgary.The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre (GPCC) site in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and will join a team of Medical a |
