Details: Dr. C.W. Wiebe Medical Clinic Winkler, MB, CA R6W 1J2 The Boundary Trails Health Centre (BTHC) together with Menzies Medical Centre and CW Wiebe Medical Centre is accepting applications for positions in the Emergency Department at Boundary Trails Health Centre. Start date and EFT can be negotiated. Required Qualifications Required licensure: Medical Degree with post-graduate training in Family Medicine or Royal College Certification in Emergency Medicine Preferred: Post-graduate training in Family Medicine with Certificate of Added Competency in Emergency Medicine Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba ACLS PALS ATLS NRP Procedural Sedation PoCUS with EDE1 or equivalent AIME or equivalent airway management course Remuneration/Hours In accordance with the provincial contract As per the negotiated agreement with Doctors Manitoba and Shared Health Full and part-time EFT’s are available (0.25, 0.5, 1.0) Shifts may also be filled on a casual basis Interested physicians should submit a CV with attention to ED training (example CCFP-EM), experience, up-to-date information regarding certification in PALS, ACLS and ATLS. Boundary Trails Health Centre (BTHC) is a 94-bed acute care facility providing quality health care services to the community and surrounding area. The hospital is located between Winkler and Morden at the intersection of Highway #3 & #14, and serves a population of 40,000 – 50,000 in the area. BTHC is the largest regional health centre in Southern Health-Santé Sud providing progressive primary, secondary, and community health care to the residents of Southern Manitoba BTHC features a full complement of services, including emergency, inpatient medicine and special care, dialysis, cancer care, palliative care and surgical services including general, orthopedics and obstetrics and gynecology. Rehabilitation services include outpatient physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and audiology services. The City of Morden (town pop. 10,006; district pop. 71,632) is located south of Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the heart of the Pembina Valley.
