Requisition Title: Hospitalist We are seeking to recruit an Academic Hospitalist – Hospital Medicine Division. The hospitalist will join the team and provide coverage to PRT7 (25 beds) & FSUB 3-3 (20 beds) units at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), a leading 477-bed mental health facility. This position is specifically for 2 days/week, Thursdays and Fridays, with a commitment of 0.4 FTE. Our hospitalists play a crucial role in providing high-quality consultant primary care. The successful candidate will have an academic position description of Clinician Teacher and must be eligible for a part-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto. CAMH is Canada’s premier addiction and mental health facility and a world leader in the diagnosis and care of patients with addiction and mental disorders, offering a wide spectrum of care, from treatment for the first episode to care for the severely and persistently mentally ill. It is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, the largest and most prestigious research-intensive university in Canada. The ideal candidate will have exemplary clinical skills and experience working with an interdisciplinary teams and be dedicated to high quality patient-centered care.
