Requisition Title: Nuclear Medicine Physician – Senior Scientist The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, are seeking to recruit a Senior Scientist and nuclear medicine physician to support the Brain Health Imaging Centre and to build a program of research. The candidate for this position must be known nationally/ internationally and respected as scientist with a proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and research funding from agencies and/or industry. As a Senior Scientist, the successful candidate will be required to maintain local, national, and international collaborations, provide practical supervision of undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral research trainees, and technical staff. Demonstrated expertise in molecular imaging with translation of innovations to patient care and commercialization is important. Skills to effectively communicate with the scientific community as well as the lay public to further the aims and objectives of the research area is key. Participation in leadership advisory groups at CAMH and externally is expected. The candidate must possess an MD in radiology and/or nuclear medicine. A PhD and additional training in engineering, physics or related discipline relevant to medical imaging would be an asset. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor at the University of Toronto.
