Northern Health is seeking a Family Practitioner to join the primary care team in the beautiful Bulkley Valley, Smithers. The Family Practitioner will be taking on new patients and providing emergency room coverage. We are just waiting to welcome you to our lovely Valley and offer our assistance as far as possible in helping you to relocate, transition and become a treasured member of our community. Smithers is located in the picturesque Bulkley Valley surrounded by three mountain ranges which provide a backdrop for the town’s Alpine setting. The main industries include forestry, tourism, transportation and agriculture. Smithers offers affordable housing and natural splendor that support a balanced lifestyle. The population of Smithers is approximately 6,000, with an additional 5,000 from the surrounding communities that access services.
