A new Physician Services Agreement was recently ratified providing substantial improvements to benefits and a competitive increase to remuneration beginning in April 2025. Physician Services Agreement 2024-2029
CURRENT Wage Range: $250,000 – $425,000 per annum Physicians have the option of choosing a salary, contract for service or fee-for-service payment modality. Information related to payment modalities including blended payment (shadow billings) for the salary and contract for service payment models; benefits of the salary model including paid vacation entitlements, CME funding, RRSP program and more; on-call payments; and the Tariff of Fees for fee-for-service; can be found in the current Master Agreement. |

Qualified and licensable candidates may be eligible for a return-in-service grant of $100,000 with a 3-year (5,850 hour) commitment to Health PEI;

Qualification Requirements

| Education |
A medical degree from a recognized med school is required.
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada eligibility or certification; or CCFP- FPA Certification; Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island Appointment to the Health PEI Medical Staff and appropriate privileging Proficiency in English is required. Work experience preferable with at least 1- 2 years of clinical experience working in Canada. |
