A new upcoming clinic invites applications for part-time and full-time positions for general practitioners and specialists. This is a unique opportunity to build a new urgent care and multidisciplinary practice in the heart of North York.

High traffic area within 5 minutes of a hospital and highway 401
Located in a medical building with existing healthcare services (e.g., diagnostic imaging, lab and pharmacy)
Adequate access to public transit and on-site parking; bus stop in front of building

The clinic is currently undergoing renovations with an expected start date of May 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide client-centric, comprehensive primary medical care to all patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up; counselling, screening, referral, and client education
Collaborate with other team members to maintain high quality and consistent patient care, and manage urgent patient matters in a timely manner
Maintain complete and accurate client records, assessment notes and required correspondence; ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information (to be primarily managed by office manager and receptionists)
Participate in implementation of initiatives to accelerate path to achieving organizational goals that ensure access to timely and high quality healthcare services
Ensure that infection control policies and procedures are followed

Qualifications:
Degree in medicine from a recognized school or faculty of medicine
Current license to practice medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Successful completion of a two-year post graduate residency program accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and an active member of the College
Strong clinical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with clients in a culturally-diverse practice
Excellent communication, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict management and time management skills
Proficiency in the use of computers, Microsoft Office applications and electronic health records

Compensation: Competitive fee for service split
