The Department of Internal Medicine, Hospital Based Internist service at the Brant Community
Healthcare System is currently recruiting Locum Tenens and Associate internists to join the expanding department. This opportunity includes both inpatient work as a HBI on the internal medicine unit (C5),IM consults/admissions and on call (in accordance with department schedule approximately 1 in 13)along with work in our newly created Internal Medicine Rapid Access Clinic (IMRAC).

BCHS offers a competitive compensation for HBI work including a daily stipend for weekday and
weekend work in addition to Fee-For-Service billing along with HOCC stipends for on call work.

The ideal candidate will have an independent practice license from the College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Ontario and Internal Medicine certification with the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons. We are looking for individuals with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, and a dedication to service excellence. They should also be a strong team player to work effectively with
physicians, nursing, staff, patients, managers and the community with a commitment to medical
education.
