The Moncton Hospital is looking for a second Hematopathologist to start August 1, 2023. The successful candidate will join a congenial group of laboratory physicians consisting of seven anatomical pathologists, one medical biochemist, two microbiologists, one neuropathologist and hematopathologist. We cover a full spectrum of anatomic pathology, cytology and hematopathology cases in addition to having a very active service in chemistry, microbiology and transfusion medicine and have a new state of the art lab facility. |

Remuneration for the position is based on New Brunswick Medicare’s Alternate Funding Plan (AFP) for Laboratory Medicine, based on credentials and experience. Total annual estimated funding $410,000.00. Financial provision to support the physician’s practice is also available.

• The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine requires certification or fellowship in Hematological Pathology of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or eligibility to write the examination for Fellowship in Hematological Pathology, membership of the Royal College of Pathologists (England and Ireland), certification in Hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology, certification by la Corporation professionnelle des médecins du Québec.
