Northern Health is seeking a Family Practitioner with C-section and advanced operative delivery skills. Surgery would be limited to C-sections only. Prenatal Clinic work is required. $350,000 if maternity care augmented by clinical work, emergency work etc. All of which are available. May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 21.35% Retention Flat Fee $24,577 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - $15,000 (TBD) Recruitment Incentive $20,000 |

Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. Fort St. John Hospital is a new state-of-the art 55 bed hospital and 123 bed residential care facility serving a population of approximately 23,000 and a catchment area of approximately 70,000. It has a state-of-the art Birthing Centre with 600+ deliveries per year and CS call shared between a solo specialist OBG and one advanced skills FP. Prenatal and primary care OB is a shared model located in the hospital adjacent to the Delivery Suite.

Fort St. John is known as “The Energetic City” and is located at Mile 47 of the world famous Alaska Highway! The city has numerous restaurants, cafés, and a health food store.
