NHA-5073 QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND SKILLS We are seeking short and long term locums. Please let us know your interest and availability. ABOUT OUR CLINIC We are a youthful, vibrant clinic consisting of 10 physicians and 9 staff housed in a modern, fully furnished, organized medical office. Each physician has their own workspace and individual exam room as well as a shared procedure room. We also have an in-house NP, dietician, social worker, mental health clinician, respiratory therapist and pharmacist who work alongside as a team and we all support each other. EMR system MOIS. Locums are paid an hourly rate of $140/hour for an 8 hour work day. For locums committing to a minimum of 3 months coverage the remuneration is an hourly rate of $180/hour for an 8 hour work day. These rates are take-home with no overhead or additional expenses deducted. Locums are required to work a minimum of 3-4 full days a week in clinic. Locums are paid consistently every 2 weeks. There is opportunity to generate extra revenue through services outside the clinic such as ER, OR, Prenatal clinic, etc. This is all billed privately and locums keep 100% of these earnings. We are on an alternate payment model, our clinic is not solely FFS based. The clinic does not provide transportation or travel expenses. Accommodation may be provided based on availability. You can enjoy a wide variety of activities from camping, hiking and lakeside fun in the summer, to sledding, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing in the winter. The city supports a robust theatre and arts community along with an indoor speed skating track, running track, soccer field, three hockey rinks, indoor pool and curling rink. Fort St. John has a newly built hospital. We have in-town specialists including general surgery, internal medicine, gynecology and obstetrics, psychiatry, pediatrics as well as a visiting specialist clinic including dermatology, ophthalmology, and rheumatology.
