Details:

Experienced Family Physician required for a 0.25 EFT in in Little Grand Rapids/ Pauingass (shared) Fly-In program area.

Willing to work independently with nursing staff.

Little Grand Rapids is approximately 255 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg. Population 1368.

Pauingassi is approximately 280 kms northwest of Winnipeg. Population: 2235

Out of province travel paid with commitment of 2 consecutive weeks. In-provincial travel covered by organization

Physicians deploy from Winnipeg via Charter to the community on Monday morning to community and return to Winnipeg on Thursday evening.

Qualifications:
Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba

Must have current Advanced Life Support (ACLS)

If physician does not have the following certification, they will be required to obtain within six months of contract

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Compensation:
Compensation is remunerated as per Doctors Manitoba contract April 1 2019 – March 31 2023.
