The Tumbler Ridge Health Centre is a Diagnostic and Treatment Centre located in a dream location for outdoor enthusiasts. All health related services are housed under one roof and is conveniently located downtown near the Community Centre. Services include: • medical out-patient • dental • optometry • ambulatory care • public health • counselling • home care nursing • emergency care covered by physicians and nurses Tumbler Ridge is Canada’s youngest master-planned community, with a population of 3,000. The major industries in the area are mining and tourism. The district has affordable housing, two public schools and a college campus. Tumbler Ridge is a welcoming community with glorious mountain scenery and humble small town culture. May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
Retention Premium 27.58% Retention Flat Fee $31,749 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 to $15,000 (TBD) Recruitment Incentive $20,000 Other Benefits/Incentives MOCAP (Medical On Call Availability Program) funding for ER On Call shifts. REEF (Rural Emergency Enhancement Funding) extra funding for ER On Call Shifts. Rural Education Action Plan (REAP) funding available. Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available. Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. ** Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice. |
