Northern Health is looking to recruit a full-service family physician to a well-supported, multi-physician medical clinic as well as well as on call C/S and Non-Operative Delivery service provision at GRBH Quesnel. Join a high functioning group of three FP-OSS providers who are supported by a community-based specialist OBGYN and FP-OBs. Call coverage for C/S & FP-OB is 1:5 and functions within a shared on-call model. Ideally, the successful candidate will participate in the ER on Call rota on a 1:10 basis. OB providers enjoy flexible ER scheduling options and are prioritized in their shift selection in order to avoid call overlap or undesired frequency of calls. The ER Department enjoys; excellent experienced peer support, onsite Critical Care & General Surgery coverage (24/7 Internal Medicine) as well as FP Anesthesia backup. Radiology & Diagnostic services include but are not limited to onsite 24/7 access to; CT, U/S, XR and Laboratory services. We welcome NEW to practice physicians and have several supports available to ensure that your transition into the community and practice is as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. We offer flexible remuneration options such as Contract Based Payment to ensure a tranquil transition to practice. GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a 36 bed acute care facility. Services on-site include: The population of Quesnel is approx.10,000 with another 13,000 residing in the surrounding area.
