A full-time permanent faculty position in the Division of Nephrology, Department of Paediatrics at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), 555 University Avenue, Toronto, ON which is an academic health science centre dedicated to the care of children; affiliated with the University of Toronto is available effective July 1, 2017.

The division encompasses all aspects of clinical paediatric nephrology, together with a large fellowship training program, as well as basic and clinical research interests. Applicants will be expected to participate actively in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the program. Experience and demonstrated excellence in research and/or teaching will be beneficial. Special interest in the area of renal transplantation is an asset.

The successful candidate should be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Rank and salary ($210,000-230,000) per annum will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be eligible for a benefit package which includes medical, dental, life insurance, long term disability insurance, group insurance, pension plan, vision care, academic allowance and a relocation package and may be eligible for a one time signing bonus. All candidates must be certified or eligible for certification in Paediatrics by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
