The Department of Internal Medicine at the Brant Community Healthcare System is
currently recruiting for a full time Associate Respirologist. This respirologists will be
required to set up a practice in the Brantford/Brant County community in addition to
participating in hospital work for both inpatients and outpatients. In addition to
respirology work they would participate in internal medicine call in accordance with the
department schedule, approximately 1 in 12 days.

The ideal candidate will have independent practice license from the College of
Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and a Respirology certification with the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons. We are looking for individuals with exceptional
interpersonal and collaborative skills, and a dedication to service excellence. They
should also be a strong team player to work effectively with physicians, nursing, staff,
patients, managers and the community with a commitment to medical education.

BCHS serves a high population of indigenous persons in the region therefore culturally
appropriate care for indigenous patients is a priority to the organization. Physicians with
experience and an interest in caring for indigenous persons are encouraged to apply.
