Shared Health Manitoba and the Department of Pathology, University of Manitoba, invite applications for a permanent full-time Neuropathologist position at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB.
Shared Health is the not-for-profit corporation responsible for all of Manitoba’s public laboratory services. Shared Health is an independent, but publically funded organization and is affiliated with the University of Manitoba.

Qualifications:

• Able to obtain licensure to practice as a pathologist in the Province of Manitoba through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
• Certification or eligibility to get certification with the Canadian Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Neuropathology.

The successful applicant will replace a recent retirement, joining two other experienced neuropathologists. We currently examine 350-400 brains and 450-500 neurosurgical specimens (including approximately 60-80 muscle biopsies) annually. Health Sciences Centre is the sole neurosurgical site and the major medicolegal and pediatric autopsy site for the Province of Manitoba. Participation in educational and quality assurance activities is an expectation, as well as working in collaboration on scholarly and clinical activities with other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.

Compensation:

In accordance with Doctors MB Agreement, starting at $378,791.00/annum.
