Fort St John Hospital is a state-of-the-art 55-bed facility offering offering a full range of services including diagnostics, surgery, orthopedics acute care, internal medicine, oncology, ICU, maternity, palliative care, and extended care with additional services such as cardiac care, rehabilitation and hemodialysis. The population of Fort St John is approximately 23,000 with a catchment area of approximately 70,000. The ER has 25,000+ visits per year.

Community Description
Fort St. John is known as “The Energetic City” and is located at Mile 47 of the world famous Alaska Highway! The city has numerous restaurants, cafés, an artisan butcher shop, all major grocery stores, and a health food store. It is the cultural and commercial hub of the Northeast, with a performing and visual arts centre, library, art gallery and theatre.
