Shared Health, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) and The University of Manitoba, Department of Pediatrics & Child Health (business addresses noted below), are inviting applications for a General Pediatrician. Main job duties include diagnose and treatment of diseases, prescribing medications and treatment, ordering lab tests and x-rays and other diagnostic procedures, consulting with other physicians as required, and medical research.
The successful candidate would also be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, and appointed as a geographical full-time member of the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of general pediatricians with a strong academic focus who provide clinical service at several sites. The referral base includes children from the province of Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, and Western Nunavut. Outreach clinics are an important component of the Section’s activities.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Pediatrics. The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.

Compensation:
Compensation is derived from fee-for-service income.
