locum Family Practice at Northern Health Authority
Quesnel, British Columbia
Job ID: 17065

Our Medical Clinic is looking for a locum to cover vacation leave for May and June or flexible May and July, covering for 2 Family Practice Physicians practice. The locum would provide primary care visit only. Locum positions would not be required to see maternity patients or long term care patients as Quesnel has a network of physicians who cover maternity and long term care. There is opportunity for ER shifts if that is desired, but not required for this recruitment. Surgical assist is another opportunity if you desire.

The clinic uses Wolf EMR and provides a reasonable split between in person and virtual health visits. We offer special benefits package of free rent for the duration. Arrangements can be made with physician to use their vehicle if needed.

The clinic is updated with each physician having their own office with large windows. We are co located with another group practice of 3 full time Family Practice Physicians. The two group practices support and help one another and share an office manager who is a seasoned expert providing billing support and is the knowledge holder of all things to support a practice. We have one long-service MOA at the front desk who runs a smooth practice. Each physician has a primary care nurse assigned to them to help organize patient follow up supports in community services.
