Details: The Department of Family Medicine, College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority welcomes applications for an Academic Family Physician. This position will be based in the Department of Family Medicine’s urban residency training stream, and will be located at Kildonan Medical Centre within Seven Oaks General Hospital. The teaching clinic and the hospital operate under the umbrella of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (for more information go to www.wrha.mb.ca). This position offers the opportunity to provide interesting clinical care (including primary care, inpatient medical care, and obstetrical care). The successful applicant will also teach and supervise Family Medicine residents and other learners, and have the chance to engage in scholarly activity and administrative work as negotiated. Qualifications: Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Preference will be given to candidates who hold or are eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Compensation: Salary is commensurate with qualifications & experience.
