The Division of Palliative Care, University Health Network (UHN) and the University of Toronto are seeking a full-time clinician with expertise in teaching, research or quality improvement in palliative medicine, to be based at the University Health Network – Toronto Western Hospital and Kensington Hospice sites. The successful applicant must be eligible for a Full-time Clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. It is expected that the position will be approximately 70% clinical, 20% teaching, 10% quality improvement/research. Expected start date is Summer 2021, as mutually agreed upon.

The Division of Palliative Care at the University Health Network spans five sites: Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and Kensington Hospice. The interdisciplinary program includes inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, an acute palliative care unit and a residential hospice. TWH is expanding its ambulatory and hospice programs and this position is being created to support clinical and academic excellence for these programs.
