QUALIFICATIONS:
• Medical degree
• Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan
• Must provide proof of CMPA coverage prior to starting practice
• Must hold or be eligible for CCFP
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified or eligible

COMPENSATION:
Fee-for-service for all clinic work based on agreements between the SK Ministry of Health and the Saskatchewan Medical Association
Anticipated term salary range: $175,000-$225,000, based on 40 hours/week, 23 weeks/6-month term
Gross income guarantee of $15,000 per month from all sources for the initial 6-month term of practice
Competitive rate of overhead charged

DESCRIPTION:
• Amenity Holdings o/a Rubicon Pharmacies operates integrated health clinics, using independent pharmacies as the nucleus for expanded practices. We are seeking one full-time family physician for the family medical/walk-in clinic run out of Remedy’s Rx Pharmacy in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The physician will hold a core practice of clinic, acute-care and longer-term care at the Remedy’s Rx Pharmacy clinic (Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, minimum 25 patients per day). Services are provided in English.

• The Remedy’s Rx Pharmacy clinic provides walk-in and by-appointment medical services to the community of Lloydminster and surrounding area. The physician will perform all duties associated with a busy family practice, including coordinating primary patient care, examining and advising patients, ordering diagnostic procedures, prescribing and administering medications and treatments.

• Lloydminster is uniquely located on the border between Saskatchewan and Alberta and boasts a rich heritage. The rural municipality is home to a population of approximately 31,000 and is located about 2.5 hours from both Saskatoon, SK and Edmonton, Alta.

• The chosen candidate agrees to establish a medical practice and to provide medical services as referenced above to Amenity/Rubicon Pharmacies in Lloydminster, SK for an initial term of 6 months. Additional term to be explored by both parties during initial term.
