The Queen’s University, Department of Medicine, Division of Neurology, is seeking a qualified Multiple Sclerosis specialist to join our busy service. Clinical responsibilities would include multiple sclerosis clinics, and rotations on the inpatient neurology and consultation services. The Division has a robust patient base in this area. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. reference will be given to those who either hold or are eligible to hold certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Neurology.

Education

Experience
In addition to a major focus on providing exemplary clinical service, the successful applicant is expected to demonstrate research expertise in neurology, with particular interest in multiple sclerosis therapies. The Division has an established residency program in Neurology and therefore a demonstrated ability and interest in teaching students at all levels is required. There are many opportunities for collaborative research at Queen’s including with our Centre for Neuroscience Studies. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment. Strong potential for innovative and scholarly research would be expected and evidence of collaborative work is required
